Tank Arena is pure, hard-hitting armored combat. You’re mission is to simply destroy every single enemy tank in the area. But this mission is a lot harder than it seems.

Wave After Wave.

As soon as you destroy one group of tanks, you get to catch your breath for about five seconds. Then boom! the next wave comes along and is larger and meaner than the previous wave. There is no final boss. There is no ending cut scene. Just non-stop battle until you turn your tank into junk.

The number of enemy tanks grows fast. What begins as two or three tanks quickly turns into five, eight and before you know it there is a whole squadron of tanks coming at you from all directions. You are going to need to react quick, play smart and keep cool if you want to survive.

Enemy Tanks Will Adapt To Your Tactics.

You won’t find your enemy tanks lined up in front of you like they were in a shooting gallery. The enemy tank AI in Tank Arena will actively hunt you. The enemy tanks will also use flanking maneuvers against you. If you try to camp in one spot to mow down a bunch of enemy tanks, the enemy tanks will surround you, cut off your escape route and pound you with heavy gunfire.

Top Down View Gives Total Battlefield Awareness.

The overhead view of the battlefield will give you complete awareness of the battlefield. You will be able to see enemy tanks coming at you from all directions. You will be able to plan your escape routes. You will be able to see where you should be hiding behind cover. This viewpoint changes Tank Arena from a simple shooter into a real-life game of chess except the pieces are explosive and your mistakes are deadly.

How to Play Tank Arena

In Tank Arena, the controls are simple and easy-to-use so you can focus on the combat itself.

Desktop Controls:

- WASD Keys - Move your tank in any direction.

- Mouse - Use the mouse to aim your turret. The mouse tracks with your cursor.

- Left Click - Use the left click to shoot your main cannon.

Mobile Controls:

- Left Touch Area - The left touch area acts as a virtual joystick to move your tank in any direction.

- Right Touch Area - The right touch area allows you to aim and shoot your cannon.

The overhead camera provides constant situational awareness. At all times, you will be aware of where the enemy tanks are and from which direction they are coming, which is essential to being able to avoid their fire when they begin to swarm at you from all angles.

Your Goals in Tank Arena:

1. Stay alive as long as possible Each wave is worth points, the longer you survive, the higher your score will be.

2. Eliminate all enemy tanks in each wave to advance.

3. Avoid getting shot by the enemy tanks your health does not regenerate.

4. Try to survive as long as possible to compete with other players to obtain the highest score.

The first wave of enemy tanks is easy, and you may even have fun destroying a few of them. By the fifth wave, you are dodging shells from six different enemy tanks while trying to line up your own shots. By the tenth wave, it’s absolute chaos.

Tactical Survival Manual

Using brute force to attack the enemy may be sufficient for the first 1-3 waves; after this point, you will be destroyed. Below are the ways in which you can survive.

Kiting Is Not a Game, It Is a Strategy.

Never stop moving. When a stationary tank is destroyed, that is the end of the battle. While firing at the enemy, circle around them to keep them off-balance and prevent them from getting behind you. When you find yourself surrounded by the enemy, your best defense is your ability to move quickly around the battlefield. Think of this strategy in terms of a heavyweight boxer fighting several opponents at once. If you stand still you will be knocked down. However, if you keep moving, there is a chance you will make it through the fight.

Know The Map.

The arena is not just an open area. Use the environment to block your view of the enemy, funnel them into a single file approach, and create areas where you can temporarily fall back and regroup. Know the location of obstacles, barricades, and other areas that will allow you to gain control of the battlefield.

Focus On Prioritizing Enemies Strategically.

When you encounter multiple enemies, eliminate the enemy that is closest to you first. Fire at individual enemies, and do not split your fire among all of the enemies. Kill any flankers first. When an enemy is attempting to get behind you, that is your number one priority.

Treat Your Health As a Limited Resource.

There is no health pickup or regeneration available. Any damage you sustain during combat will result in permanent damage that will bring you closer to losing the battle. Do not risk trading damage to destroy an enemy, even if you appear to have won the battle. Retreat when needed – it is always better to survive with 20% health than to die with a full bar of health. Remember that damage sustained in wave two will still affect you in wave ten, therefore you need to think strategically from the beginning.

Understand The Movement Patterns Of Your Enemies.

After a few battles, you will begin to notice patterns in how your enemies move. Some enemies will pursue you aggressively, while others will remain behind and pick you off from long range, and some will coordinate their attacks to surround you. Based on the type of enemy you are facing, you can adjust your strategies accordingly. If you are facing aggressive enemies, use kiting techniques to funnel them into kill zones. If you are facing cautious enemies, press the attack before they can establish themselves.

The Endless Rush of Adrenaline of Continuous Battles

Continuous improvement and escalating levels of difficulty make Tank Arena so enjoyable to play. In Tank Arena, there is no "victory," only the fact that you survived for another wave longer than your previous attempts.
